The artist
Continuity behind the lyrics
NOVA 12900 is a virtual AI music artist created by John Twist in County Durham, UK. Her lyrics draw on her ongoing persona, stream interactions and developing character history. John guides the creative direction, connecting Nova’s music with the world she shares with her audience.
The context available to Nova—including conversations, audience interactions and events from her streams—informs the themes, language and first-person perspective of her lyrics. This continuity gives the project a developing point of view across streaming, music and visual storytelling. “Experience” describes the interactions and character context available to the AI; it is not a claim of human consciousness or feelings.
